Our Mission

As the Blitz core team, we firmly believe that developers and participants of blockchains have a responsibility to optimize and innovate existing processes, both for the sake of the participants themselves as well as for the sake of the environment and, last but not least, for the sake of Ethereum itself in the face of concerns over its ecological footprint. The vastly reduced amount of computations needed to carry out trades on Blitz as compared to its competitors lowers the network's power consumption and is just one of many ways in which we all can reduce the environmental strain from cryptocurrency mining. For this reason, the mission statement of Blitz is simple and clear: "The main mission of Blitz is to provide the best possible services for cryptocurrency traders, liquidity providers and the environment at large. To provide funds to research that matters most, to be an esteemed voice within the Ethereum ecosystem and beyond."
